St. Vincent’s is excited to work with an organization like the Birmingham Hammers because they offer a great opportunity for families and friends to connect to a popular sport that promotes physical activity. This partnership will create not only true partnerships for enhancing the health of the players, but of the families and our community who supports those players. From the treatment of sprains and strains to our state of the art orthopedic and sports medicine surgery center, St. Vincent’s has a proven history of caring for athletes of all ages and sports.
President and General Manager Morgan Copes had this to say about the big announcement, “we are delighted to be partnering with such a well-respected organization in the Birmingham community. We feel that earning this relationship shows just how dedicated the Hammers are to bringing professional soccer to the Magic City. We are not quite there yet, but this is a huge step for us as an organization.”
The Hammers will be unveiling the kits with St. Vincent’s logo prominently displayed next Wednesday night at Good People Brewing Company. The party will start at 6:00 pm and is open to all ages. It will be the first chance for fans to purchase the inaugural jersey. The Hammers play their first match in history on Saturday May 9th at Nashville FC in the first leg of the I-65 Cup. The first home match, to be played at Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex, is at 7:00 pm on Friday, May 29th and is the second leg of the I-65 cup against Nashville FC.
