New York, NY - THE BIRMINGHAM HAMMERS ARE very excited to see the schedule released for the National Premier Soccer League's ("NPSL") Southeast Conference. There will be some familiar faces as well as some new ones. Chattanooga, Knoxville, Nashville, and New Orleans all return for the 2016 season, while two new teams have joined since last season: not only the Birmingham Hammers, as you well know, but also Memphis City FC. In our opening conference match we will face last year's runner-up, Chattanooga FC. The match gives the Hammers a tremendous opportunity to make a big entrance not only in the conference, but also across the entire league. Join us at Sicard Hollow at 7pm on Saturday May 14th, 2016.
Indeed, two regular-season trophies will be at stake when the Hammers take on Nashville FC in the I-65 cup and the Georgia Revolution (NPSL South Atlantic Conference) in the I-20 cup. Be on the lookout for ways to travel to away matches. Be sure to visit our store for some Hammers' swag and tickets to home matches this year!
